15 Best All-Inclusive Resorts With No Passport Needed

When you think of all-inclusive vacations, it probably brings to mind images of some far-flung desert island or beachside party. Although this is certainly possible, it can be less than ideal to achieve. International travel takes planning and months of preparation to choose the right destination, accommodations, and get all your paperwork in order.

For U.S. travelers there are plenty of choices for vacations close enough to home. Throughout the guide, we cover all-inclusive resorts that don’t require a passport as they’re all within the United States. You can find the same beautiful and typical destinations with sand, sea, and sun.

Set your sights on these resorts as a possible getaway, whether they’re in the U.S. Virgin Islands in the Caribbean or in the warm weather of Florida in the southern USA.

All-Inclusive Resorts Without A Passport Required

Bungalows Key Largo

Bungalow Keys Largo

The town of Key Largo is just off the southern tip of Florida on the world-famous Highway 1. It’s the first of many of the Florida Keys connected by this iconic stretch with miles of overwater highways and bridges.

In the heart of Key Largo, the Bungalows Key Largo is one of the best all-inclusive resorts in the United States as voted by magazines like Travel + Leisure. There are very few asterisks to your stay at the Bungalows Key Largo. The list of included meals, drinks, activities, and amenities is mind-boggling and warrants a quick read but suffice it to say guests get everything they need for good measure.

As an adults-only resort, Bungalows Key Largo encourages guests to let loose and have a great time however they see fit. Get out on the sound and kayak or snorkel to take advantage of the crystal-clear and warm water. Stay on land and ride bicycles included with your stay or attend one of their daily yoga class.

In addition to all the other inclusions, you can opt for add-on excursions to make a trip even more memorable. These include tours like sailing charters, sunset cruises, scuba diving, and endless deep-sea fishing opportunities.

There are quite literally hundreds of bungalows to choose from. All accommodations are similarly appointed so the real decision is what you’d like your view to be. Garden view bungalows make up a majority of what is available, but you can also reserve waterfront views along the nearly 1,000 feet of reserved beach owned by the resort.

Royal Kona Resort

Royal Kona

Hawaii has dreamy islands filled with beautiful resorts and endless natural beauty. On the west coast of the Big Island, you will find the Royal Kona Resort. It’s located a short drive from the Kona International Airport.

Although Royal Kona Resort is technically not all-inclusive, strictly speaking, guests can customize their stay with added-value packages to include discounted rates on meals and entertainment at nearby attractions. There’s even a bundle that includes airfare to take the guesswork out of your entire vacation.

Royal Kona Resort has the classic appearance of an island resort with a storied reputation and modern upgrades to suit the tastes of the most discerning travelers. Rooms are highlighted by a simple elegance that will cause you to focus your attention on the island itself, one of the jewels in the crown of Hawaii.

Embrace the spirit of Polynesia by attending the Lu’au and find yourself immersed in a world of song, dance, and a feast for every sense. The all-you-care-to-eat buffet, complimentary Mai Tais, cocktails, beer, and wine ensure travel memories you won’t ever forget. Here are some more all-inclusive resorts on Big Island, Hawaii.

The central location of Royal Kona places travelers near the beaches and volcanoes, both of which are must-see attractions included on any visit to the Big Island. Guests will find a large pool for swimming, and the Don’s Mai Tai Bar & Restaurant that offers live entertainment.

Bolongo Bay Beach Resort

Bolongo Bay

The Bolongao Bay Beach Resort perfectly encapsulates what you think of when it comes to all-inclusive resorts. The U.S. Virgin Islands white sand beaches are perfect for snorkeling and gently slope into crystal-clear turquoise waters as far as the eye can see and offer stunning weather year-round. It’s one of our favorite places to visit and was my very first vacation after college.

St. Thomas is a perfect example of this with the Bolongo Bay Beach Resort, named after the bay on which the property sits on. For over 30 years, people have been visiting Bolongo Bay Beach Resort to see the difference that this intimate resort has to offer.

Thrill-seekers and comfort enthusiasts alike will find something to enjoy at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort. The action is never far away with snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, windsurfing, and sailing. I did a snorkeling tour where I was able to see plenty of sea turtles and fish. Or you can choose to do nothing at all, relax on the beach or pool, and lounge in fabulous accommodations.

Speaking of the accommodations, travelers can choose from one of three styles of room. The value room with garden views, an ocean view on the second and third floors, or a beachfront room with direct access to the sand from your porch.

All-inclusive at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort is unique among the resorts here due to the fact that they remain a purposefully small establishment. Unlike many other resorts which provide buffet-style dining for most meals, you’re treated to 100% a-la-carte dining at Bolongo Bay.

This includes breakfast, lunch, and four-course dinner daily. Along with this fantastic meal service, expect unlimited cocktails as well as a huge selection of beers, wines, and champagne. The Bolongo Bay Beach Resort isn’t the only all-inclusive resort in St. Thomas either.
